A quiet interface translates environmental observations into an understandable spatial field.

Design intent
Environmental dashboards often emphasize the number before the experience. This illustrative interface places a simple spatial overview first, then lets people inspect individual observations at their own pace.
Interaction model
Observe, select and compare form the three primary actions. The overview stays available throughout, helping a visitor understand how a local reading relates to the whole field.

Prototype & next steps
The visual prototype demonstrates hierarchy rather than live sensor data. Future evaluation would test interpretation, keyboard use and whether the abstraction conveys uncertainty accurately.
